Might have, had MGRover not gone bust. Probably gone for a large cc engine (1800) with more torque. Or a ZS. However...

As a result of MGRovers collapse, I bought a ZT-T 1.8T....

Did you get a good deal and why?
Reasonable - sold previous car privately as the dealer wouldn't give me a good price for it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Top Gear gave it a good review. Looked great and allowed individualisation. A girl working in the next building bought one and was pleased with it. Quite 'peppy' with reasonable running costs
What was the dealer like?
Salesman not that much of a ball of fire, but no pressure.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Not much low down torque - so have to use the box. Fairly responsive though and good through the corners.
What's it like to park?
Not as easy as the R25 on smaller wheels as the lock is not quite so good, but no problems once you make an allowance for it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Had to have a new main shaft seal within a month and new door trim attachments on driver's side.
What's most practical about your car?
Large boot and fold-down sheets
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sunroof and colour-coded seats
