Boy-racer with insurance and fuel money to burn. NOT a family car or comfort.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
...they think I need to grow up! (Im 29 - but love MG's and quick engines).
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, obviously they don't make them anymore. I have the MG ZR 3dr 1.8 VVC in Trophy Blue with the multi-spoke alloys which is top of the range so anything else would be a down grade.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably go for the ZS 2.5 V6 next, heard its as quick and the engine is bullet proof.

What's it like to drive?
OMG!! Ive had some quick cars in the past but this one is QUICK!!! 2nd Gear goes on forever (which is a good thing) ...all the way to the 8,000rpm mark and sounds lovely. Breaks are very good, smooth gear changes and for those people on here saying "doesn't handle well round corners" ...are you joking? You obviously haven't driven a 3 series BMW of MG TF! I know my cars and this handles just fine. The ride is quite stiff though, feel most bumps in the road. Mine has a few rattles on the dash and door when driving on bumpy roads but 75% of the time, quite quiet. This car is basically a cheap toy, lots of fun for £1,000 plus whatever your paying in insurance. If im crusing everywhere at 30 - 50 mph in 5th gear, I can get just shy of 40mpg.

Easy. Not a massive turning circle though.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Rear windscreen wash jet doesn't work.
What's most practical about your car?
Can fit 4 adults comfortably for a small car. Decent size boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Its quite a basic car so no fancy gadgets unfortunately. Mine has the matching blue and black leather seats which look much better than the standard yellow hatch pattern.
