Economy
Value
Good spec if you opt for the + model, but cabin needs updating to mach rivals.
Costs
Very surprised at relativley low servicing costs, but too early to tell about parts and labour costs. Tyres very dear about £140 each.

On the road
Driving
Very sharp and rewarding to drive. Mitchilen Pilots grip like Spiderman in a superglue factory. Very controlable wet or dry, although never dull! Only sometimes becoming too harsh on rough surfaces.
Performance
Excellent. Effortless overtaking due to whopping 177ft/bl of torque. Just compare 30-50 and 50-70mph times with the 1.8vvc or a scooby-doo for that matter, but could be better with latest technology.

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down once, but build quality is a disgrace with various parts of the interior falling off or squeaking already.
Image
I love the looks, but could be better for not looking so close to a Rover 25.
Comfort
Seats are very comfortable and very supportive, but driving position and ergonomics are from a John Deere circa 1920. Suspension is a good compromise between comfort and handling.

Security and Service
Security
Good alarm and immobiliser as standard. Deadlocks are also fitted, but is a target for scum due to profile.
Service
Dealers are poor and way behind the top ones for quality of service.
