-
Economy
Value
Too expensive, drinks diesel due to slower boost turbo, pretty boys car, but cheap fueling.
Costs
Diesel costing too much, they have a taste for it.
-
On the road
Driving
Comfortable, but high and bouncy.
Performance
Quick for a diesel, but not quick enough, can't take corners. Get a 306 TD.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Had no probs, brake light switch went straight away, clock was brake, had no fog light switch? But had waranty and 3 years MOT.
Image
Mixed... I came to dislike it because of its rich boy sports hatch, easy way out of moding a car.
Comfort
Big and comfy, but not supportive. They belong in your front room.

Security and Service
Security
Good, had no problems. Goes off if you leave sunroof/window open.
Service
Very poor customer service, they couldn't care less at MG. Go independent.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
No problems, except fuel economy.
Other
Seat hinge covers brake, lights brake, you will get lots of small anoying things breaking, if you must go for a ZR, get the 160, very quick, high torque, can beat a chipped Civic VTi.
