The good points, we realy like the car, good milage range, fair amount of room and good specs on it.
Let down by an air bag fault to start with, after 20 weeks in the garage (and 2 weeks previously), it is now back in the garage for the air bag fault, also it now has a fault with the front ABS, the handbrake and other issues.
Very bad customer service to begin with, advised us they did not deal with complaints. We emailed the Director Hao, customer services and next day they were on the case. However, we still had many days when the car was not even looked at (you can see of the app). The car is 8 months old and we have had it for 6 weeks of use, hence only 1,000 on the clock. The garage was contacting MG in China, we had to point out to them that MG is at Longbridge in Birmingham which they did not know, things then started to move.
We were offered £300.00 for inconvenience (the hire car was petrol and that cost us £280 in fuel), so not must of a gesture. When we agreed to the offer, this was withdrawn unless we had another MG, but not available for 6 months plus.
