What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
looks nice (and i agree) but not comfy small amount of rear head/leg room and harsh ride gives passengers a hard time, more of a second weekend car than day to day
Would you buy this car again and why?
yes but only as a second car with low mileage/low owners and unmodified

Did you get a good deal and why?
no, car was overpriced (it was an impulse buy)as it was on a dealer forcourt but i needed a car at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looked good in yellow and mg heritage
What was the dealer like?
Good to begin with, sorted a few minor problems with the car a few weeks into ownership although the service team seemed to treat all customers like idiots who know nothing about cars, 9 months into ownership the engine seized due the car being poorly modified that ther dealer did not tell me about, after this they did not want to know about fixing the car as they were a nissan garage and just told me to find a mg specailist as they wern't mg trained. very poor.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
good size of car made town driving a doddle light controls switches in good places if a little dated (same as rover 400) V6 engine dissapointing very little low down grunt for its 2.5 litre size my old mondeo v6 felt more sporty, but surprisingly economical (Birmingham to manchester and back on £20)ride very hard was not nice to drive home along bumpy lanes after long day at work very stiff gear box 2nd gear a nightmare to get in meant usually went from 1st to 3rd gear to save time trying to find it.

should of been easty to park but large rear spoiler cut down rear visability conciderably

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Altenator failed, fuel pump cut out leaving me stuck for an hour, engine seized due to previous owners bad modification something the dealer did not tell me about and with second hand engines starting from £900 it was too costly to repair.
What's most practical about your car?
big boot, lots of small cubby holes for bits and pieces in front of the car
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
thought matching seat trim was neat touch yellow in my case looked stylish
