MG ZS Saloon (2004-2005) interior, tech and comfort

MG has had a good stab at modernising the interior with new soft feel switchgear and some swatches of alcantara. The driving position offers plenty of adjustment, although the wheel doesn’t adjust for reach and it wasn’t the easiest car to get comfy in. Brakes need a firm pedal pressure to work, but do the job once you stand on them.
The ride is rather jittery at low speeds on poorly surfaced tarmac, but becomes more compliant with speed or when dealing with bigger bumps. Interior space is from another era, and as such the cabin is quite tight in terms of leg-room. Seats are soft and supportive.
