MG ZS Saloon (2004-2005) boot space, practicality and safety

(change model)
Front and side airbags are fitted for driver and passenger, along with ABS although there is no traction control system. All models get an alarm and immobiliser and a central locking system that locks the doors the moment the driver moves off. The doors cannot then be opened unless the engine is switched off, or the central locking override on the dash is pressed although it does unlock automatically in an accident.
The boot is generously proportioned, and the rear seats do split and fold to carry longer items although to the gap in the rear bulk head is quite restrictive. Cabin storage is ample.
