One of the best interiors of any affordable car – some say it even has the ambience of a cut-price Bentley (if Bentley made an estate), mixing sporting overtones with comfort. Cockpit area is rather cosy thanks to all the padded trim, but looks good and feels right.

More than enough room for front passengers, although in the back it only comfortable for two adults, rather than three. Little noise from the road, engine or wind and interior is soothing – which is great for longer trips.
