What does this car say about you?
NOT a BMW driver! This is BMW quality for the most part without the BMW tag.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The kids love it, the wife just thinks its OK. Friends and neighbours always looks at it as it so different to the usual German or French fayre.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would buy another one, but would look a little more closely next time, especially now I have owned and lived with one. They are good cars and not run of the mill.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something of a similar size and stature, possibly the MG 6.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I always liked these cars and wanted a change. This one was 'the one'. Good colour, good spec.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Super smooth, even with 18" wheels and low profile tyres. The auto box is smooth but could sometimes do with another gear and better kickdown. Steering in precise and responsive and the car is nice and quiet on the road.
What's it like to park?
Fairly easy to park, especially with sensors on the back. All round vision is pretty good and it is not as big as it feels.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have invested quite some money in this car since I bought it. It appears the previous owner was a 'just do if for the MOT' man rather than wanting to have preventative maintenance done. I have had it serviced as per the schedule at Beech Hill Garage and MG specialist. I have replaced: Air Con condenser, rear wheel bearings, all shocks, springs and anti-roll bar drop links as well as the expected discs and pads all round and an exhaust. I have also had the EGR modification done too, which has massively improved fuel economy. Of course I now have almost a new car.
What's most practical about your car?
Space and comfort. The boot is huge even without the seats down. Cabin space is excellent and very comfortable for the family.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
My favourite gadget is the Fuel Burning Heater which warms the car before you get in it in the winter.
