What does this car say about you?
That you like good sporty looking cars but not bothered about performance / speed. Economical and laid back.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Amazed with the price! They thought it was about £10k! Friends called me an old man (Im 29) but give me this car over their 2003 Astra or Focuses anyday.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Errm, probably not. The performance (or lack of) can get really boring and the looks wear off after a month or so. I might if I had a family or was on a budget.
What are you likely to buy next?
Well Im looking at an MG ZS saloon 2.5 V6 (facelift model) - 2004/2005 in silver OR possibly a Megane 225 ...depending on finances.

Normally for 100,000 miles and very good condition, I paid £2,250 which is pretty average.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very comfy and quiet, despite being a diesel engine. Steering is medium. If you want a car with a kick and performance, this is not for you!! Its very slow acceleration but cruises nice in 5th gear on motorways.
What's it like to park?
No problems, just use your mirrors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
YES!!! The clutch went, common problem I was told. It approximately £600 for a new clutch because you need to basically remove the engine. If the slave cyclinder on the clutch has gone, they have to replace the master too ....hence the expence! Light bulbs kept going every 3 weeks, bonnet wires became loose and difficult to tighten and radio steering controls didnt work.
What's most practical about your car?
Size, its massive!! Feels good driving 4 adults around in smooth comfort.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Digital climate control and quick de-mist button.
