Economy
Value
As an ex-demo, great value - certainly far better value than the usual German competition. I'd have expected traction control or similar to be standard.
Costs
Insurance sensible, regualar servicing costs cheap for sort of car, tyres frightening unless you shop around / use Internet.

On the road
Driving
Excellent - handles beautifully, certainly more fun than the equivelent BMW, Audi or VW. Refinement / ride good for a sporting saloon.
Performance
Deceptively quick - there's no need to thrash the car for performance.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Only one fault - a tiny rattle from a window - otherwise faultless.
Image
You'll either love it or hate it. So far, only positive comments - though the louder colours are very in-your-face.
Comfort
No issues - great on a long run. More than enough space for front and rear passengers.

Security and Service
Security
Thatcham 1 should be standard.
Service
Dealer - Clemo MG Rover - brilliant. Far better than the service we received at BMW & VW where arrogance seems the norm.
