MG ZT Saloon 2.5 + (190ps) 4d (2001/51) Owner Review

-
Economy
Value
Old cliché; a lot of car for not a lot of money.
Costs
Quite economical on a run, not so good around town. Independents best for everything but major services.
-
On the road
Driving
Plenty of grip and very smooth acceleration. On anything but the smoothest road surface you cannot afford to lose concentration for a minute.
Performance
You really have to go way up the revs to get the best acceleration. A bit scary as you can't help thinking that the engine is going to explode!

Living with it
Reliability
No problems yet
Image
Nothing but compliments. Rare enough to make people look.
Comfort
Very hard. Not for people with bad backs or false teeth.
-
Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser is a bit temperamental, won't start sometimes until I open and close the doors a couple of times.
Service
Expensive for more or less the same service as an independent
