Pros & cons

CONS
Terrible rear visibilty with the roof up, noisy on the motorway, pointless back seats
MINI Convertible (04-08) rivals
Overview
If there’s one thing guaranteed to make a popular car more popular still, lopping off its roof is a sure fire bet. Unlike the old Mini which had a pram like contraption it called a roof this new model gets a two-stage work of engineering art. And if you don’t fancy the full convertible mode, then it can be partially retracted at the touch of a button.
A range of new colours are available and there’s more scope to customise the interior than before.
