What does this car say about you?
Let's face it this is a bit of a posers car! Great if you like a bit of attention but it's also a driver's car, most MINI owners seem to be petrol heads.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it. It's one of those cars you can park at the supermarket and it just stands out from all the boxes on wheels around it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yep! It's one car you should own before you die, just like the original Austin Mini is.
What are you likely to buy next?
A practical family car :(.

Did you get a good deal and why?
You don't tend to get much haggling room with a MINI because there isn't an alternative - it's not like going shopping for a small family car, you're buying a MINI and there's only one company making MINIs.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had a 2002 Cooper (non S) for 3 years before I bought this. I always wanted an S, a proper one with the supercharger rather than the turbo model.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A proper hoot! The wife says it's like a nutter teenager on speed. It's sooo much fun but it can be a handful on damp roads when the tyres havent warmed up. Also, having sports suspension and run-flats means it's very firm and likes to follow the camber of the road.

Easy!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
This car has been so reliable (touch wood). Servicing isn't too bad.
What's most practical about your car?
This isn't an especially practical car but there's enough boot space and back seat space for a good amount of shopping.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the way the exhaust pops and burbles! The full leather seats are nice, as is the climate control but this car is all about the engine and the way it handles.
