Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Simply brilliant. I've driven a few original 1960s/70s Mini Cooper Ss and it really capures the same "awe" without the bad bits. However, I found the DSC makes it weave across the road fairly violently.
What's it like to park?
No problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The chrome (plastic) end piece of the handbrake lever was loose and then fell off completely. Apparently this is common. I bought a new handle kit for about £20 and just replace the chrome part. It's near the handbrake button so it's easy for your forefinger to rest here and put pressure on it and eventually it gives way.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing stand out.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The optional "chrome line" interior really lifts it. The optional web spoke split-rim alloy wheels would have looked nice when new but have all suffered from corrosion. Common problem on BMWs I've had with such wheels (328i Sport).
