Summary
What does this car say about you?
My choice of car shows that I like a traditional timeless design (nothing too quirky) with good performance and handling.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Neighbours admire the car, and family think it's great. Especially my 7 year old grandson who thinks the Voice Control is straight out of Knight Rider.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely buy this car again. I have had 45 different cars (+ 6 motorbikes) since I started driving, and this is one of the best that I have driven. The other ones that I rated highly were BMW models, but the rear wheel drive inability to cope with severe ice and snow conditions let them down.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably another one of these.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£19,236
When did you buy the car?
July 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car (ex demonstrator) was only 7 months old with 6400 miles on the clock, and I saved around £7000 compared with the price of a new one. I got the top book price for my Mini Cooper Clubman trade-in.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I had a Mini Cooper Clubman which was great, but I wanted something a little bigger.
What was the dealer like?
Very good. No problems at all.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really enjoyable to drive. Bags of pulling power from the 2.0 litre turbo-diesel, good brakes and very precise steering (handles like an ordinary Mini).
What's it like to park?
Easy to park. Rear parking sensors help.
