-
Economy
Value
Not cheap, but everything's well put together, 18 months old and looks and drives like new.
Costs
TLC, so none to speak of, apart from a fog lam and a tyre, both manageable even at the main dealer.
-
On the road
Driving
Very involving drive. Loves corners, bit breathless - if you really want to push, buy an S.
Performance
Feels great in town, fine on the motorway and A roads.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems at all. Had a flat tyre, but as it's on run flats, all it meant was I had to slow down and go to a Mini dealer on the way to my destination.
Image
The only problem in London, or I guess any large town is that there are a lot of them around now. Still looks great, and people still want them, let's face it Madonna's got one, despite (or because of) Clarkson - who's the style icon ?
Comfort
Fully leathered up, climate and cruise control, it's great in the front, admittedly a bit less capacious in he back though. Boot's small, but enough for a week's shopping for 2. Seats fold too, so it's fine for surprisingly large items.

Security and Service
Security
Remote deadlocks, alarm factory fitted, it's secure.
Service
Polite, helpful, Heathrow and Colwyn Bay - very nice people !
