What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone I know thinks it a girls (or gays) car including me as its my wifes.

Would you buy this car again and why?

definitely not - do not let anyone tell you that these cars are of the same quality as BMW's just because BMW own Mini! mini's are no wher near the quality of BMW's, you will see this once you sit in one and feel how cheap the materials used inside the car are. As for the engine - IT IS NOT A BMW ENGINE! - the whole car was designed by Rover before they went out of business, all BMW did was put the car into production.

What are you likely to buy next?

One of my mates had a 2001 VW Polo which is 3 years older than the Mini but 10 times the car (very well built).

What's it like to drive?

Average to drive, finding reverse gear can sometimes be tricky. Power steering makes a loud whining noise (all Mini's do this). The controls (i.e. for indicators, wipers, lights etc) are very cheap plastic and seem quite fragile.

What's it like to park?

Easy enough apart from listening to that whining power steering.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Power steering system packed in and was expensive to fix.

What's most practical about your car?

Not a very practical car. Minimal legroom in the back and very small boot.
