What does this car say about you?

At the minute - nothing as it has spent more time in the garage than with me!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They like the look but don't know how awful they are to run and keep on the road - in working order! Utter rubbish car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Not At All - Avoid At All Costs. If you anticipate purchasing a Mini ensure that the insurance cover you get has a rental car should you need yours to go in the garage (this will be the best decision you made!).

What are you likely to buy next?

Ford Fiesta Zetec S.

Good after sales prices and reliability coming from the BMW franchise.

What's it like to drive?

Like a Go Kart. The handling is terrible at 70+ under hard braking.

Easy

Have you had any problems with the car?

Death Rattle. Engine - An array of costly engine issues which unless you have warranty are not easy fixes. At only 30k Timing Chain full kit replacement (approx. £300 plus fitting) after this Ive an unidentifiable fault with the camshaft, sensors & ecu which has meant the car in the shop for over 6 weeks. Also look up common fault - Death Rattle - Yes this is true and not made up by me!!! Poor Paintwork, really scratches and chips really easy. Car needs constant attention for servicing Expensive to run. Fuel economy isnt much better than a 2.0 litre Golf. Services are more regular & costly.

What's most practical about your car?

Like a go kart.

Half leather interior and optional extras on car, inc. i.e. stripes, paintwork, features in car inc. mood lighting, etc.
