MINI Hatchback (2006 - 2013) 1.6 Cooper 3d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
MINI Cooper 2007 Gen2 R56 in old fashioned Night Fire Red + Black roof, sunroof + a/c, I deleted the rear seats, this common modification didn't startle the insurer, giving me more room to carry spare wheel. I have kept 15" Pepperpots alloys, my favourite look, a bit more retro. The car handles just like my 1982 Mini Cooper. Point and press acceleration, sticks to corners if camber is correct. MPG is fine, expected 40mpg and get about 40mpg, add super unleaded and the difference is remarkable, exhaust note that trills on factory system. Get yourself a Cooper for a few months and you'll enjoy every minute. Parts & servicing are well within price range for a well constructed, swift car that gets admiring looks. Each Mini is a charachter, unlike the unremarkable Euro boxes pootling along.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Brings a smile to my face, after many different new Golf/BMW/Volvo/Audi/Ford, I decided to sack leasing and buy this 2nd hand, 1 previous owner, full SH, Oil changed annually, top ups as required, easy to maintain and still the most fun I've had when driving.About their car
