Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I know quality, style, comfort and practicality when I see it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My husband is jealous and is waiting for the day I need an automatic so he can steal my car on a permanent basis. My friend went and bought one just like mine, and she loves hers as much as I love mine.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. Once you have had a Mini you never go back. There is nothing not to love about my car - practical, cool, reliable, efficient, enough 'guts' to accelerate be if from a standing start, or on the motorway.
What are you likely to buy next?
Mini Clubman for me - easier to get children in and out when I have them. Mini Countryman All4 for my husband as he needs the optional use of four wheel drive during his winter commute.

Buying experience

Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£8,500
When did you buy the car?
May 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was a good price for the age and mileage - slightly more than other dealers but the Mini warranty makes it worth it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed an efficient and reliable car that could do the large mileage I do - half motorway, half city traffic.
What was the dealer like?
Brilliant. Friendly, efficient, caring - help you find what you need, as well as what you want.
-
Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It is nippy and responsive in town, but comfortable and powerful enough for the motorways.
What's it like to park?
A dream. It can get into almost any size park, it is responsive with a decent turning circle.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A set of lights came on - turns out it was the diesel glow plugs.
What's most practical about your car?
Size - big enough for 4 adults comfortably, small enough to park almost anywhere.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth phone - I work from my car, so it has been a life send, allowing me to take my calls whilst driving.
