Mitsubishi 3000 GT (1992 - 1999) 2d (1992/J) Owner Review
-
Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says you like to be different. A lot of (jealous) drivers will say it says you're 'flash' but I'm not, I just like to be different from those who drive boring, 'jelly-mould' cars.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They liked its looks/performance, but comfort wasn't so great and was the main reason I sold it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, probably not. Might possibly try the twin turbo version just to see but basically got tired of the way this sort of car influences the moronic/boy-racer/jealous element in society.
What are you likely to buy next?
I've already bought a Mercedes E320 Avantgarde and very nice it is too! Much smoother + quieter, doesn't bring out the prat in other drivers as much as the Mitsubishi.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,800
When did you buy the car?
May 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes I got a good deal. I'd seen plenty of so nice examples in more common colours were up for a lot more.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I'd just owned two of the new shape 1.25 Zetec Fiestas and I just fancied a change...!
What was the dealer like?

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great performance, very big and heavy but engine had many new parts and developed 240bhp; had twin 4" stainless exhausts which produced an 'inspiring' sound! Handling not too bad, the car wasz 18 years old so had to take into account the fact that probably wasn't as tight as it once was.
What's it like to park?
Not great, considering size and poor visibility but had reversing camera under number plate and incorporated into stereo/TV.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Knocking from rear, was told by mechanic probably a worn bush.

Nothing really!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
TV!
