Overview
This close relative of the higher-priced previous-generation Volvo S40 lacks the Volvo’s status. Image aside, Carisma is a user-friendly family car, although neither its styling nor its performance are remarkable. Its redeeming qualities are competitive prices, generous specs and above-average reliability. Running costs are also very reasonable.
