Mitsubishi Carisma Hatchback 1.8 GLS 5d (AC+ABS) (1997/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
I 'window' shopped for months and spent a day looking at loads of cars and the Carisma was by far the best value for money, certainly out-shone the Vectras for value.
Costs
Economical on fuel (around 400 miles per tank of fuel), no idea of dealer costs as it has been problem-free and serviced independently, cheap insurance.

On the road
Driving
A reasonable drive but nothing too exciting.
Performance
Pulls away better than my company Renualt Laguna but top end is missing some ompf.
-
Living with it
Reliability
No complaints, does what it says on the tin!
Image
This car is not regarded to have much visual appeal however it is ordinary rather than ugly, respectable rather than head-turning appearance.
Comfort
Plenty of room for the family, dashboard layout well thought out and better looking than many (including bland Vauxhalls).
