Summary
What does this car say about you?
Individual and an indepedent thinker. Why follow all those sheep with Fiestas and Corsas. I want value and style without going for a Hyundai or other old man's brand.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all love it. They've never seen one so are keen to find out more. Amazingly been stopped a couple of times by passers by wanting to look. It looks like a mini Evo (it looks so much like the Ralliart model).
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Mitsubish or other Japanese car

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£10,130
When did you buy the car?
September 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not much room for a discount because of the scrappage scheme. Got a few extras and 3yr servicing thrown in.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The scrappage scheme. Best value for money in this sector by far. Mitsubishi relibility, rarity of model, 6 speed gearbox option.
What was the dealer like?
Polite and efficient. No pressure, very fast turnaround.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Grown up. Smooth and refined at all speeds. Not 'sporty', but the kind of driving experience you want every day. Far better than earlier model. Feels like a much bigger car and fills you with confidence.
What's it like to park?
Thick A and B pillars make it tricky to see out but massive (and I do mean MASSIVE) door mirrors make up for it. Stearing is a little heavy, good at speed but not when parking.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing gone wrong to date.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a small car so not that 'practical'. Returns great economy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6 Speed Semi-Auto gearbox for sure. Very clever and can change gear in manual mode far smoother than I can. 16" Alloys are very cool too.
