In their own words
I bought this Mitsubishi as a first car, was looking around at all the choices and wanted something out of the box and different to everyone else. I couldn't have chosen better. It drives superb.
The handling is brilliant and responsive and the small amount of power is still exciting. The small weight makes the 95hp feel like over 100. Although first gear is short the rest feel perfectly sized.
It's comfy and roomy, plenty of space for people in the back of any size, the high roofline makes it easy to fit anyone and there's lots of adjustment on the seats too.
In terms of being practical, the boot is small as can be expected, but with the seats down flat and parcel shelf removed, its easy to fit most things from day to day life in there.
Entertainment system is good, Radio AM and FM, AUX or CD. Sound quality is good, bit rattly from being old but not bad.
In terms of reliability it's at 70k miles and has never failed to start on me, in the heat of summer or the ice in the winter. A few things to note is the gear linkage on these is known as a weak spot, tends to stiffen up and could do with a good lube up when mileage gets around 60. Another good thing to know is that steering rack issues tend to occur at 90k. I've never experienced this but it's worth bearing in mind for higher mileage models.
Other than that it's brilliant, and definitely slips under the radar for fun little cars.
