Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who doesn't like to stand out yet likes quality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like the looks on the outside and hate some of the nasty interior plastics.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would for practicality and economy. It's probably one of the most economic cars out there now that diesel costs significantly more than petrol. One of the least depreciating cars in the class!
What are you likely to buy next?
Will keep this for another couple of years then whatever's best on the market. Hopefully a new Colt will be out by then.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,995
When did you buy the car?
March 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Thought it was quite cheap for a top spec model with only 9000 miles. Got leather, auto gearbox, all airbags, aircon, etc.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I needed a small car and this seemed like the best option. The main selling point was the diesel-like economy from the 1.3 petrol engine.
What was the dealer like?
Average.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's really good, the only thing i don't like is the body roll when you push it to the limits, but then again if you want to do that a lot then buy another car. The A-pillars can obstruct view but it's not a big problem once you get used to them.
What's it like to park?
Very easy. No problems at all.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Have done over 30 thousand miles without a single problem. This is astonishing, given the number of problems my friends with much more expensive audis and bmws had!
What's most practical about your car?
The reclining seats that you can take out if needed.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the leather seats and leather steering wheel with controls.
