Summary
What does this car say about you?
Sensible i would like to believe, also that you don't want to follow the crowd.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Friends think its brilliant, they like that its different, family love it, they are very surprised by all the extras and leather seats, neighbours seem to like it...unlike the pressure washer i bought to keep it shiny!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would like to buy Mitsubishi again, maybe not this car as i would like to upgrade from a hatchback in a few years, i find it great what Mitsubishi can squeeze performance wise from a engine that i can make hit 40 mpg with ease, usually around 45mpg on my daily 10 mile commute.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something a little bigger.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£2,995
When did you buy the car?
August 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Feel like i got a good deal, though as expected a few minor problems that have had to be fixed that the franchise must have just passed by due to wanting the most profit.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Something different compared to the usual first cars.
What was the dealer like?
Cheerful, though the manager of the establishment was very rude saying that my friend (a qualified mechanic with his own garage) was just a 'tyre kicker' and he would prefer the AA to check the car before i purchase it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great to drive, corners well, comfortable, easy to drive at slow speeds, easy to park, a little noisy on the motorway though.
What's it like to park?
Simple, wide mirrors make it very easy, and the short over hangs over the wheels make it very easy to judge where to stop.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed two front bearings, disks and pads, due to these cars not being as popular as some cars out there the parts are pretty expensive, £200 for front bearing/hub assembly which is quite pricey, though £35 for pads & £40 for disks seems acceptable.
What's most practical about your car?
One touch window open/close, hidden radio/cd controls, spare 12v charge point in boot, large wing mirrors.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The hidden steering wheel radio/cd controls are brilliant, unlike most other cars they are not bulky and oversized just the size of three finger tips flat into the back of the wheel.
