family think it is a comedown after thge Passat.

Not the AMT would go to a manual but I think I just have a rogue one as I have driven another AMT whilst mine was off the road and it was fine.

one of the few diesels autos around

Driving it

Noisey and gearbox jerky but I expected that. Gets quieter in 6th gear on the motorway and quite pleasant. Seats uncomfortable

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
How long have you got? It has been the most unreliable car I have ever had. Gearbox/throttle freezes when trying to pull away. Sepent a whole month with the dealer but problem reappeared. Dealership has one trained mechanic apparently, and has to communicate with Mitsubishi by email. Other minor faults such as faulty glovebox lock and interior lights pale into insiginificance in contrast
What's most practical about your car?
The diels engine is brilliant - aeverage 65mpg and 70-75 on a run
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
trip computer good
