Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says "I don't want a Mini or a 500 like everyone else" or "I can't afford a Mini......." It's a genuinely rare car, I've seen two others in the last three and a half years. Mini/500 owners would see more than that in a day!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Mixed opinions, some think it's ugly, most think it's fast (some think too fast!) some love it. My son loves being out in it, especially if the roads are quiet. It's been a great mid life crisis car and I won't be selling it anytime soon.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would definitely buy another if they still made them. Reliability is excellent, fun factor massive and running costs really reasonable. I average 37 mpg.
What are you likely to buy next?
Won't be for a while yet but I would consider a Fiesta ST, a Toyota GT 86/Subaru BRZ but I'd miss not seeing a car the same as mine so would look for something a little more left field but I don't know what!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,500
When did you buy the car?
September 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a great deal, the trade in on my previous car (Colt diesel) was excellent.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Fun practical car.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer (Tees Valley Mitsubishi) was excellent, I would highly recommend them and would go back. Sadly, Mitsubishi don't make a comparable car to the Ralliart though.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fast, pointy, and fun. I love driving this car. The mid range torque makes safe over taking a breeze.
What's it like to park?
Mine was already fitted with rear parking sensors by the dealer. I didn't think these would be any use but they are really helpful for very tight spaces. Having said that, the car is easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
In three and a half years and 40000 miles I have had one sticky gear selector that my local garage fixed for £80. Other than that just pads, discs and tyres plus an annual service.
What's most practical about your car?
It is big enough as a second car, I use it every day for work and the boot is just big enough to carry my work stuff. Drop the seats and it will carry almost anything.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I like cruise control but the engine is absolutely fantastic.
