Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart (2008 - 2013) 1.5 T Ralliart 5d Owner Review

In their own words
Probably one of the most fun cars I've ever driven on B roads. I absolutely love this car to death.
It has been tough and reliable, only ever really needing the usual parts replaced (brake discs ect) in the five and a half years I've owned her. I did accidentally take a jump too fast during a hill climb and damaged the track rod ends but that was my fault and not the cars. (Another guy in a golf GT TDi did the same thing and his entire suspension collapsed).
The engine is a masterpiece and has great character, you will never grow tired if the way this car pulls. The turbo starts showing signs of life at around 2700 rpm and from there to 6000 rpm you are catapulted forward much faster than you would ever expect a Colt to go.
The handling is very good too. Not much body roll if at all, the steering is heavy but feeds you information in a way that let's you know exactly what is going on. It definitely reminds me of some of the classic 90's hot hatches in that respect. The grip is second to none and I have managed to drive on frozen snow during the "beast from the east" without snow chains and she barely batted an eye!
She may have a dull interior, her proportions may look a bit odd but she drives like an absolute gem.
Very underrated and a future classic, definitely worth a ganders!
