Mitsubishi Grandis (2004 - 2010) 2.0 D-ID Classic 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
This car is a practical family car that looks alright and goes well too. It's large enough to fit seven adults or masses of stuff if you want to put the seats down. The 2L diesel engine goes nicely and can pull the car well. On a long drive it's comfortable and cruises along with pretty decent fuel economy too. It's quite heavy on tyres, but I guess you can't have everything. I've had two Zafira's (which I hated!!) so in comparison the Grandis is brilliant. I'm not sure why there aren't more of these on the road? A really good buy.
How reliable do you find the car?
This car has been very reliable for us in the time we've owned it. I've done roughly 60K miles and in that time I have only had to replace consumable parts (tyres, brakes etc). Unfortunately, very recently I had a turbo issue. However after taking it to a garage, it was just a turbo pipe that needed replacing which cost £100 plus labour - not bad really.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
The car is fine for what it is. It's obviously a large family car which fits literally everything in we could ever need or want! Massive boot space, good size in the rear for adults and easy to drive. The seating position is a little awkward because of the gear stick column which I bang my leg on as I'm over 6ft, but I've got used to it.About their car
