Economy
Value
4 doors, 5 seats, large boot = good valve, unfortunately add depreciation, fuel costs, insurance, parts = not good value.
Costs
This car is extremely quick at emptying your bank account, (front brake pads £400 + vat an fitting) Clutch an flywheel £1500-1600.

Driving
A real drivers car, although the steering lock is very poor, would be better if you could turn the traction control off, grips road so well it seems to re-write physics.
Performance
Very quick, quicker than the Impreza, but you pay the price at the pumps (4mpg when you drive it hard) although you soon get used to the power.

Living with it
Reliability
I've done 20,000 miles so far, (company car) not let me down once.
Image
Everybody seems to worship the Evo, rest assured you will get noticed, not always a good thing.
Comfort
Not that uncomfortable, given the performance, but very hard ride, feels like the car has no suspension.

Security and Service
Security
The Evo has a good alarm as standard, (providing its a UK model), but best to fit a tracker as well.
Service
Tony at Brighton Mitsubishi, is probably the most helpful and enthusiastic person I've ever dealt with regarding the Evo.
