Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Evo VIII (2003-2005) interior, tech and comfort

A blend of the good and not so good. You sit clamped in body hugging bucket seats gripping a sporty Momo steering wheel but the rest of the interior is old Japanese saloon car and utterly unexciting.
It is a full five seater, but one of the few cars where the rear is suited only to adults – put your kids in the back and you’ll get done for shaking babies as well as speeding. Your mother probably wouldn’t be too happy back there either. You can unsettle the stomachs and almost certainly induce injury all but the most robust of passengers.
