Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably that i love petrol stations? I like paying the highest tax band and having high insurance? I dont know? Haha.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Some people have never seen one and ask what kind of car it is. Thats great. Just because i prefer to have a car other people dont have or have never seen. Something you dont see everyday cant be a bad thing.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes i supose i would be tempted for a newer Evo 11 if they ever did make one. Dont think i would buy one new though. You lose too much money on new cars.
What are you likely to buy next?
Mabe a high powered diesel? Power and a bit of fuel saver. Mabe a Audi A5 3 litre? Thats the downside of the Evo X. A tank of petrol will last approx 180-200 miles.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£17,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Well i travelled from Newcastle to Leeds to buy it. I was looking for a nice low mileage car in mint condition. I got the dealer to paint my rims black and 6 months tax were included in the deal!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Ive had an Evo 4, and an Evo 6 (both imports). So i pretty much knew what to expect. Well built Jap car, with loads of power and grip!
What was the dealer like?
It was a Land Rover garage in Wakefield. Posh garage and well looked after. Great service and made sure everything was done to keep me happy. Just the way it should be when you buy a car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Effortless. Its just too easy. You can flick between automatic and manual paddle shift. And if you like wasting petrol flick it into sport mode and the car becomes more aggressive. Higher revs etc.
What's it like to park?
Would have been nice to have rear parking sensors or a reversing camera. Mabe thats something it look at in the future. You cant see much out the back window. Plus the big spoiler gets in the way. You find ourself looking under and above it.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It had 4 new tyres and a new AYC pump just before i bought the car at the previous owners expense of just over 2k. Nice....Only thing ive had wrong it the exhaust rattles a bit. I sorted that out with a nice new stainless steel cat back system. Lovely!
What's most practical about your car?
I like the fact the wing mirrors fold in when you lock the car which is brilliant. But i love the radio. It does everything! CD/DVD/Sat Nav/Trip Computer etc etc its all in one!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
I like the flappy paddle gear box for a bit of fun now and again, but i find myself just leaving it in automatic. Simply because the car is so quick and effortless. Its just too easy!
