Summary
What does this car say about you?
Doesn't want the typical boring looking family cars. I like something a bit different.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it, they think I've had a pay rise after buying this (though I don't tell them what I actually paid for it) I've had loads of positive comments more so than any other ca I've owned. The lesser informed think its an Evo.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes if Mitsubishi made a new model with a decent engine lineup.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure yet, I will have a look at what Mitsubishi have to offer, I also like the Mazda CX5 but I have no plans to get a new car at the moment.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£6,800
When did you buy the car?
September 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Pretty good deal, dealer threw in a years warranty and knocked a couple of hundred off the price.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I've always loved the look of the Lancer saloon and the GS4 has great spec. They are pretty rare on the roads which is a shame as its far better looking than an Astra or Focus.
What was the dealer like?
Kept me waiting a while but overall was ok.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handling is fantastic for a large car and performance is good when you compare it to similar focus/ Astras. You have to remember this is not an Evo. Think a 2 litre would have been better for this car. I love driving this car and the gearbox is pretty slick as well.
What's it like to park?
Needs parking sensors really. Its hard to see where the back of the car is and no rear wiper making reverse parking in the rain a challenge. It takes a bit of getting used to.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Needed a recall for the drive belt but all dealt with by Mitsubishi main dealer. ot problems so far (fingers crossed).
What's most practical about your car?
Large boot and plenty of leg room. Its a very comfortable car to be in.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Sat Nav HDD music system is excellent but I love the heated seats.
