Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says that I am not one for buying a car that is run-of-the-mill and that I like something a bit quirky.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My wife is not a big fan, but my son (aged 20) has been driving it happily for the last 12 months.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, it has fulfilled it's purpose and my son has now bought his own car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something that is more exciting to drive. I am currently looking at Jaguar/Saab/Lexus models.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,500
When did you buy the car?
March 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Seemed like a good deal at the time! The car had been a Marshall Mitsubishi demonstrator and was only 6 months old.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My son was learning to drive and I wanted a car with a lower insurance group than my current vehicle.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly and amenable.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Pretty boring really. It could do with a 6th gear for quieter motorway cruising and the gearbox is notchy with reverse being difficult to engage sometimes.
What's it like to park?
I have had no problems with parking it, although it is quite difficult to judge how far you can reverse.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No. Apart from replacing the wipers and front tyres it has been completely fault-free :)).
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of space inside (especially for rear-seat passengers) and a practical boot space,.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
For a budget car it has got climate control which I find very useful.
