Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback (2008 - 2011) 2.0 DI-D Juro 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
The diesel engine is very noisy and sluggish till you hit third and let the turbo do it's thing. You need to get out first really quick as using the turbo in 1stbis pointless the rev limiter kicks in to protect the engine and you have barely moved. Same thing in second so short shift to 3rd then bury your foot as it will happily hit 45 to 50 in third and 4th will take you to the speed limit so you can merge quickly on major roads and motorways then kick it up 6th and cruise. I have hit almost 60 mpg on motorway runs but 35 round town is normal. The Juno is well specced with sat navs DVD player for passengers air con etc but our sat navs has a power problem and randomly turns off and then when it does power up it has pretty much reset it self. The only thing it stores is home postcode and radio presets are gone. Very annoying. Everyone says it's easy to park with the reverse cam. In car parks etc yes but my road is very narrow making a reverse park damn near impossible due to parked cars on opposite side of the road. At low manouvering speeds I have seen cruise ships with a better turning circle but get it out on the roads and you can feel the evo and rally heritage as you throw it around Chevron marked bends at 40.
How reliable do you find the car?
Sat navs randomly turns off and won't turn back on till it feels like itDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
It's a lancer with Mitsubishi build quality. It is not an evo and seems people keep comparing it to that. That's like comparing a standard focus with an rs.About their car
