that i need an estate car and am fed up with unreliable french cars. the looks are different which i like.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

my neighbours have never mentioned the car , jelously. neither have my family. wifes family said we have joined the green welly brigade.

Would you buy this car again and why?

if the suspension was softened ,yes. and fuel consumption sorted.

Did you get a good deal and why?

for 15300 i thought it was very good value after paying over 14k for a automatic scenic in 1998. the original book price was 20k but i think they did not sell because people still bought a forrester which this is a copy of.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

hoping for a reliable jap car after owning a new renault. this was no more expensive than a new automatic scenic either.

What was the dealer like?

very good. looked sick when i asked him to beat broadspeed price but he did.

What's it like to drive?

auto box is fine and the engine has just enough performance. handles well on smooth rd. all the controls are simple and easy to reach. why has nobody mentioned the hard ride yet, in town and on country roads this car will rattle your bones. fuel consumption 85 miles from £20 regulary????

What's it like to park?

difficult , visibility not good for parking. small windows.

Have you had any problems with the car?

window winder and washer jets packed up but fixed under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

its a classy car for the same price as a auto scenic. estate shape and should be bullet proof.

nothing outstanding here.
