Mitsubishi Outlander (2007 - 2013) 2.2 DI-D GX4 5d Owner Review

Good 4WD system - its abilities have surprised me on more than one occasion ... almost unstoppable on winter tyres with good grip. Good size internally with nice seats for 5 occupants, third row seats are very occasional use only as they are only suitable for really short people and kids (personally I would prefer to have underfloor stowage instead). One big niggle for me is the tailgate, I'm 6ft tail and still keep walking into it after 3 yrs of ownership :( ... the lip needs to be just a couple of inches higher when open. The split tailgate is nice, especially handy for sitting on and changing boots. The vehicle has excellent HID headlight (the best I've ever had on a car). Easy to drive and not to bad to park, good visibility when driving. Overall a good reliable family workhorse. 8/10
