Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I am not flashy and have chosen a car more for its ability rather than how it looks outside the school gates! ps: I walk to the school gates, so it isn't a 'wanna be Chelsea Tractor!'
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most look at it as one of those nasty 4X4's causing the whole of the worlds global warming problems! I don't think it has many fans
Would you buy this car again and why?
If they still made it, and they did a diesel version/more fuel efficient petrol version then 100% yes I would buy another.
What are you likely to buy next?
I am waiting for Mitsubishi to bring out a replacement for it, as long as it is more fuel efficient

£15,000

Did you get a good deal and why?
It was the last of the model left in the dealers stock and they had an offer of £2k off list price making it around £15k new.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To be safe along single track country roads in the winter particulary in the snow + to tow a boat
What was the dealer like?
Very good at selling...not so good at after care!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Just like a standard small family car, just higher up! Quite a 'gas guzzler' in town traffic. Motorway driving fine up to about 2hrs max then starts to get a bit uncomfortable.
What's it like to park?
Extremely easy to park. Higher off the ground so there is good visibility. Small in size so it will easily slot into most spaces. You know where the front is and you know where the back is.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I had a small patch of rust after 6 months of owing the vehicle. Mitsubishi refused to cover it under there 6 year warranty as it was 'not on a seam'
What's most practical about your car?
Fantastic in the narrow country lanes and easy to drive around town. Easy to park. Excellent for putting rubbish in to take to the tip.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Ability to change from 2 wheel drive and put into 4 wheel drive when required.
