Summary
What does this car say about you?
My mechanic would say I was an idiot to buy it in the first place.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The family like it for the space and the seats are comfortable. My neighbour comments on the black smoke.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never. And it has sort of prejudiced me against any of the Mitsubishis.
What are you likely to buy next?
I have bought an Isuzu. I hope it will be less trouble.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's not the most lively drive, but then again you don;t buy a 4x4 for a lively drive. Actually it is a real pig on long journeys because the clutch is too close to the bulkhead and the driving position feels slightly twisted. I bought this as a car to tow and IW horse trailer and to be honest it struggles to pull the empty trailer up a hill never mind with two horses in it. It really isn't a good towing car. Mostly your driving experience is anxiously wandering when it will break down.
What's it like to park?
Pretty good really.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It would be easier to list what had not gone wrong. it has needed a new head gasket every year except 1 and it is on the second new cylinder head. The brake callipers needed to be replaced, two alternators, multiple steering parts, it overheats easily and the corrosion protection is non existent!
What's most practical about your car?
Load Space is good, and visibility isn't bad.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Air Con.
