Summary
What does this car say about you?
Some would say that it's yet another Chelsea tractor burning the earth. But most comments are that they like the look of it. So I guess it says that I own a large car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most feedback is very good. One friend actually said that it's the car that he really wanted to own but couldn't afford it. And one neighbour bought one because they had to "keep up with the Jones'". Strange people I hang around with.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not sure. Having had three of these in succession it's time for a change. And they don't make them anymore. I'll probably keep this one for hauling the dog around and get something else for work.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably something with a smoother motorway ride like a Jag. I'd love an Aston but I'm nowhere near with those 6 numbers!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£18,000
When did you buy the car?
December 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
It was a relatively good deal as they took my (very troublesome) 2.5Td oil burner off of me at a reasonable rate. I feel sorry for the poor schmuck that ended up with that Friday afternoon car! Beware depreciation on these things though thanks to Mayor Ken and the greenies.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I bought the car because of the low cost of LPG motoring. I have no idea why the British public are so reluctant to adopt LPG. Less than half the price of petrol and now nearly a third of the price of diesel. Come on folks!
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful. Hummingbird Motors.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's not the most refined thing on the road. Very large turning circle makes it a bit awkward compared to things like the landcruiser. Other than that it cruises up the motorway and along A roads quite happily.
What's it like to park?
Large turning circle but pretty godd visability.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The LPG system needed replacing which had to be escalated to the manufacturer. It has now been fitted with a new system which has proved more economic than the old system and more reliable. The way they handled it was pretty good though.
What's most practical about your car?
The ability to bung anything in it and it copes admirably. I put the entire hard landscaping stuff in there for a large fish pond and it hardly broke a sweat taking it all home. Nearly a ton of stuff.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
LPG. Saves a fortune!
