Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I like my space? I don't choose a car for what others think!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
No one has really said anything. It doesn't stand out really - it just looks like a large estate car - one of the reasons I chose it, because the others looked like mini-buses!
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I still had the same needs, yes. It is a great workhorse. We have found it useful for carrying casks of beer between breweries and pubs (up to 5 at once) for helping move masses of stuff, for transporting 6 people eg on pub crawls, for long journeys with luggage ... yes - I am very positive about it!
What are you likely to buy next?
Something smaller, now. Our needs have changed!

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£15,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2003
Did you get a good deal and why?
The car cost less than all the other 7 seaters we had looked but we felt we should have had a better trade in for my old car, bought new off them and maintained by them.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We had two children about to start at uni and though we should have a vehicle big enough to transport them back and forth. We were also transporting members of our quiz team and there werenever enough car seats.
What was the dealer like?
A large company with many salesmen, this particular one was very friendly and on later reflection, pushy! At later follow-up visit, we felt we had been a bit manipluated by him and he was also no longer interested in us!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's a lovely car to drive - very easy and capable of good acceleration and speeds. The driving position is great - high up and with great views. It's easy to get in an out of, especially for older people. I love where the gear change is located. The front seats are comfy and have armrests, like an arm chair!
What's it like to park?
Getting close enough at the rear when backing in as hard unless to parallel park next to a shop window and look at your reflection - you can get to withing an inch that way! I had to learn to use my mirrors, like lorry drivers do! great!
