Love it - looks, comfort etc.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, this is my fourth SpaceWagon - I love them
What are you likely to buy next?
Grandis.

£10,000

October 2004

Got £1000 off by playing one dealer off against another!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We had already had 3 SpaceWagons and found them to be comfortable, reliable & versatile.
What was the dealer like?
Mercedes Benz dealership so very polite and well presented.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth and fairly quiet for a big car. Seats are very comfy and great on long journeys. Ideal for tall people all round. Husband 6'6" & no problems fitting in. Not very economical on fuel.
What's it like to park?
Some minor blind spots but once you get used to the length, I find it a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The only problem we have had with this one was the onboard computer - dealer replaced as under warranty. Not a major problem - just irritating.
What's most practical about your car?
Seven seater, which turns into a bed! Loads of boot space. Spare wheel is under the outside rear - saves having to empty the boot should you need a spare.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the arm rests. But miss a few extras which we have had on earlier models - middle sun visor above rv mirror, heated wing mirrors, under seat storage.
