Nissan 200 SX 1.8 3d (1994/L) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Mine was an ex-lease high-miler (63k).
Costs
Fuel actually ok, and parts/servicing not too scary (though no major work needed on my car)

On the road
Driving
Don't thrash it - turbo thrust takes the place of high revs. Wonderful when mastered. Handling and ride surprisingly good for such an old design.
Performance
None finer for the money.

Living with it
Reliability
Mine had been cossetted; couple of silly items e.g. wipers failed due to snapped rod of some kind. Leather a real Achilles' heel, unfortunately. Wouldn't fancy a knocked-about example.
Image
Discrete, but very dated design. Never seen by the market as an image builder... I still loved being in it.
Comfort
Some may find low seating position a problem, but extremely comfortable for motorway work.

Security and Service
Security
Mine had an alarm which I think was dealer fit - no worries with this.
Service
No real issues.
