Nissan 200 SX 1.8 3d (1993/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Can't get more performance for the money… Shop around though, there are some crappy examples out there.
Costs
Not bad. Take care of the turbo and everything is fine with regular servicing. But Group 17 insurance is very pricey.

On the road
Driving
Love it! I am on my second one now after totalling my first one (not my fault!). I"d like to try the newer model.
Performance
Power tends to come all at once: as soon as you hit 3,000 revs you are pushed back in your seat! It gives many a sports car a run for its money, especially unsuspecting MR2 drivers!

Living with it
Reliability
Never let me down yet. Mine has done 80,000 trouble-free miles.
Image
Excellent - pop-up lights, good lines, looks great in red. Obviously starting to date a little now but you can't get better for this age.
Comfort
Not bad, as the other reviews say. Seats are a bit pants. Mine has air con which helps on hot sunny days.

Security and Service
Security
Had to fit a second immobiliser as Nissan factory-fitted one was not Thatcham approved.
