Nissan 200 SX 1.8 Executive 3d (1992/J) Owner Review

Economy
Value
I defy you to find a car at this price that has better anything.
Costs
Massive following, always easy to get parts and never from a dealer unless you really, REALLY have to. Modding wise, parts are really cheap. You can get an extra 50-80bhp out of it easily. Mines at about 280 now.

On the road
Driving
Turbo, RWD, no driving aids. Drive like a dummy and it will bite you. Hard. But saying that, amazing fun.
Performance
In standard form they are rapid. Mod them and they become a beast.

Living with it
Reliability
Can be niggly, can be a nightmare, can have no problems at all. Look after the car and it will do the same to you.
Image
Though the engine is cranked up and it sounds like a fighter jet taking off, I have left the body alone. It is great as it is.
Comfort
The original seats are pants. Put some leathers in from 14/a and your laughing.

Security and Service
Security
I don't think I have seen one yet that doesn't have a CAT1 alarm fitted by the current/previous owner.
Service
Never taken it to Nissan, do not intend to. I think they'd have a heart attack if they saw the engine now.
