Nissan 370Z Coupe (2009 - 2020) 3.7 V6 (328bhp) GT 3d Owner Review

In their own words
As a sports car, it isn’t quite what you might expect, sure it has a Porsche like driving position, it corners like a go-kart, but unless you rev it hard, it doesn’t have the pace you’d expect for a 330 BHP V6 engined car, low down there’s not very much going on, it just feels like any 2.0 car, not a 3.7, but get it past 4000 rpm, however, that’s where the story changes and it comes alive, you start to see the speedo needle sweep round very quickly and things get illegal in a hurry, but in order to do that, be prepared to use the gear box! On the road, it feels a very tight and firm machine, being rear wheel drive, the rear will step out if you prod the accelerator too hard on a bend but it feels far from out of control, again, however the acceleration in gear only really happens if you get into lower gears and get the revs up, in 6th on the motorway, at about 60, it’s only revving at around 2500 rpm, so even if you floor it, don’t expect to lose that diesel rep mobile on your tail, it won’t do it, instead, you need to drop it into 3rd or 4th and floor it to have any effect, which to me given the car’s look and feel and the reputation of the ‘Z’, I find a tad disappointing. Overall I think if you crave hot hatch frying performance, you need to either remap it or look elsewhere, other than that though, it’s a lot of fun on a twisty road or going to the track!
